Thanks for the great article and deep background. Tombstone is my all time favorite re-watch. I can hop in at any point and be fully engrossed in that world. So many great early performances like Billy Bob Thornton's heavy card dealer who Earp slaps with that great line, "Are you gonna do something or just stand there and bleed?"

Post-Pod Knowledge Drop:

The train car featured in the movie: 5150. Not just a Van Halen record, but also "5150 refers to the California law code for the temporary, involuntary psychiatric commitment of individuals who present a danger to themselves or others due to signs of mental illness. It has been more generally applied to people who are considered threateningly unstable or “crazy." So get on the Crazy Train! You're a peach!

Well, you're an oak. Maybe we should have used Crazy Train for the intro song for this one.

Truly a "print the legend" kinda thing with the story! Gotta tell a good story for the pictures! I'm curious if I will ever watch the Costner one again. (To say I did it!) I liked the language of the dialogue in the film. Sometimes, it adds some color and can put you into the Old West when people talk different-like. As disagreements go, though, we've had more kerfuffles. You're a daisy! I say this movie holds up! League Goes West....

PS: Tomestone? OH, clay ....

Well, BYE!
